Creating/ Music Literacy
- Use iconic or standard notation and/or recording technology to combine, sequence and document personal musical ideas for rhythm.
- Interpret and apply personal peer and teacher feedback to revise personal music.
- Present a final version of personal musical ideas to peers or informal audience.
- Improvise rhythmic &. melodic ideas and describe connection to specific purpose & context (i.e., personal, social).
- Demonstrate & explain persona reasons for selecting patterns and ideas for music that represent expressive intent.
Performing
- Demonstrate & explain persona interest in, knowledge about, and purpose of varies musical selections.
- Demonstrate knowledge of musical concepts (i.e., tonality, meter) in a variety of music for performance.
- Demonstrate understanding of expressive qualities (i.e., dynamics, tempo) and how performed use them to convey expressive intent.
- When analyzing selected music, read & perform rhythmic and melodic patterns using iconic or standard notation for rhythm.
- Apply established criteria to judge the accuracy, expressiveness and effectiveness of performances.
